Which is the Best Canon Photo Printer For 2009? Top 3 Canon Photo Printers

Canon PIXMA MP280 All-In-One Colour Photo Printer (Print, Copy and Scan)

By Alan Cassidy

Top 3 Canon Photo Printers
Photo printing devices come in different packages. Some are perfectly packaged and some are the otherwise. Canon photo printers belong to the league of printers that are on the top of the line. Partly, this is due to the fact that Canon as a brand name has been trusted all these years by the consuming public.
In the last decades, Canon printing devices have hit the market very successfully. In retrospect, this will give you information as to what Canon models have become the most sought after and have brought Canon more and more money. Below are the top 3 Canon PicturePrinters:

a. The Canon Selphy ES30 goes to the top spot. This is one of the very few compact photo printers that have been very successful. This sleek compact printer is the most portable compact picture printer available in the market with complete functionality. What is even noticeable about the Canon Selphy ES30 is that it is able to produce print outs that are brilliantly and precisely produced. So, if you are looking for a compact photo printer that will surely work to your advantage, then this model brand is the best suited for you.
b. The Canon Pro 9000 Mark II goes to the second spot. If you are a professional photographer, you would want to have a similarly "professional" device that can give you professionally printed hardcopies of your taken photos. This is the perfect photo printing device for professional photographers because of its 8 ink tank which allows for better a precision in the picture. Although this model brand is a bit bulky because of its 16 inches width and 14 inches deep, this would likely make it difficult for anyone to transport it from one desktop to another. Nonetheless, looking at its features, you will never even notice about the bulk size anymore as the functionalities that it possesses are dramatically enticing.

c. The Canon Pixma IP3000 belongs to the last spot. This is the 3rd best Canon Picture Printer. While the Pro 9000 Mark II is the best choice for professional photographers, then the Canon Pixma IP3000 is the one that is best fitted for the non-professionals and budding photographers. This compact photo printing device is very economical because of the efficient usage in its ink plus the fact that replacement of the ink cartridge is relatively very cheap. While one will think that because this belongs to the last spot, it does not at all the least in producing high quality photo print outs.

Because of the numerous Canon printer models that are being released in the market, the more it becomes for people to choose the top of the line. However, with the simple guide that was provided above, it is pretty sure that buyers will not have a difficult time to choose best Canon Photo Printer.
So, what are you waiting for? Just study the information provided above and when you are ready, grab your own piece of a Canon Photo Printer now at your favorite online shop.

HP Photosmart 7510 All-In-One With EFax Printer

HP Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-one Printer

Did you know that HP with its Photosmart 7510 All-in-One with eFax Printer has hitched this printer to Apple's iOS 4.2 operating system so that not only will it work directly with your iPad or iPhone, but it can also work with your iPod, as well? If you have some videos uploaded all you have to do is bring your Apple device near the HP and the image you want to see and/or edit will appear in the four-by-six built-in display. Once you have made all the fixes you want, you can then easily either fax it along or you can print it out. Indeed, HP not only allows you about 1,000 black-and-white impressions, but you also have about 300 color impressions that range from 4 by 6 to a maximum of 8.5 by 11.5 which makes this device quite flexible.

It becomes even more flexible when you consider that not only can you use it with a networked PC as a printserver through a USB port, but, if you want to just use it as part of a network, itself, all you have to do is: Set it up as an old-fashioned printerserver linked to a PC; Use your router's wireless hotspot and the WiFi 802.11 b/g capability built in; Use the Ethernet port built in.

That's pretty easy, isn't it? When you are through you will have a device that not only acts as a printer that will work with either Windows or a Mac but you will also have a device that faxes at 600 dpi or prints as the same level (there is also a color mode available) that delivers up to 99 copies. The All-in-One also acts as a fax or a copier so in one device you have everything you need for your family.
It is bigger than the others on the market at 17.9 by 17.7 by 8.7 and weighs in at a hefty 18.5 pounds but it still has quite a number of nice features, including the 4 by 6-inch built in screen that allows you to manipulate your images before you print them. It is also set up to print directly from the network, however, it will only handle one job at a time.

As a printer, it operates at up to 13.5 pages per minutes in black-and-white mode and 9 pages per minute in color. It's scan resolution is 1200 by 2400 dpi and it acts as a flatbed scanner.

You can boost its efficiency by using duplex printing, but this is a limited option as it will only handle 25 documents. Other networkable printers offer far more duplex ability. The fallback for the HP is its direct link to Macs through an older version of Apple's iOS 4.2.

This is a nice, although older, version of today's more modern printers and it is a bit more flexible as it has more print modes available, including the ability to print directly from memory modules.
Still, is it work the extra money you'll spend on HP supportware? The answer is - it depends. It depends if you want the name HP and its reliability on your network or you are willing to settle for something else that's a little smaller and maybe a tad faster. The ultimate answer is up to you.

Epson Stylus Pro 3880 A2+ Ultrachrome Photo Printer

By Generally Wet
I'd used an Epson Stylus Color 3000 for some years (an earlier version of Epson A2 printer). When everything went right, it produced superb results for a printer of that era. The 3880 improves on it in most respects - physically smaller when all folded up, much improved interface that reduces the tendency to print landscape on portrait paper and vice versa, better colours and resolution, and borderless printing. Photo printing on Epson paper gives probably the best results that you're going to get from an inkjet. Photo printing on plain paper is poor, but that's not what this printer is made for (HP printers probably do best on plain paper).

The use of separate black inks for different paper types can be expensive - the printer wastes a lot of ink changing black cartridges, so it's best to stick to one type of paper unless you have a particular reason to change. Epson printers also have a reputation (which my 3000 lived up to) of suffering from head blockages. The 3880 hasn't had this problem yet, but it has fixed heads like the 3000, so may do eventually. However, if your priority is print quality for photos on photo paper, you won't beat this printer. I would strongly recommend using Epson paper with the printer - I've had disappointing results on other papers, and I would also recommend only using Epson inks (no, I don't work for them) to avoid head blockages.

Super fast setup

By CJL1
I purchased my HP 5510 printer after reading the outstanding feedback. I needed a printer to AirPrint to my Ipad and the HP 5510 seemed ideal.

The 5510 was the easiest peace of software I have ever installed. Just switch on and follow the prompts and it found my router immediately. Next the the ink cartridges were installed. I Down loaded software drivers from the HP web site as this way you get the newest updated drivers and software.

Completed test prints from my Ipad and PC with no problems. Was a bit concerned I would have problems scanning and printing from some of my PC software. I keep all my data on paperport, no problems so far.

Some users have reported a problem aliening the print cartridges. I had similar problems until I realised the alignment page is placed on the glass with top of the page on the right front corner. All my previous scanners were the other way round. That's what I get from not reading the instructions.
I agree the printer is noisy when switching on but this is the only down side well worth the five stars.

Pink Polaroid Pogo - Great value for money... sometimes

PINK Polaroid PoGo Digital Photo Printer with Zero Ink (Zink) Technology - PINK

By The Truth TOP 100 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE   16 Dec 2010

I bought it for my girlfriend for Christmas as she's one of these 'photo' people - constantly snapping away at her friends on nights out with her iphone. Here in lies the problem though - although it isn't insurmountable. This device does not work with the iphone - at least not in the cordless blutooth way it was designed. But with a little help from the trusty desktop computer and laptop she's able to use it still - so no biggy. I didn't really expect her to take it out down the disco and start printing out shot there and then; that would have just been weird. Using my phone the device connected easily via blutooth and I was printing away quite happily within minutes.

The inkless technology makes it a doddle to to use and maintain, with the only real maintenance you have to worry about is cleaning the printer heads once in a while, which is easy enough; all you do is pass one of the sheets of photo paper through the machine back to front - done.

The prints themselves aren't exactly 'Jessops' quality but they're more than acceptable, and the fact that they have a sticky back means she (the missus) can make use of any old scrap book as a photo album and make all the girlie photo book she wants. All in all, for £17, I think this is a great little stocking filler.

The device is well made, and constructed out of metal not cheap plastic - it's easy to use and load with new paper but if you want to use it with your digital camera or compact, you will need to check that your model has something called 'Pict abridge'. Alternatively just visit the Polaroid website for a list of compatible cameras and phones. That's just about all the main point covered... except for the price. Which can vary wildly.

Warning: shop around though you can pay anything up to £100 for these, so make sure you don't. Plus they come in a range of colours too. Black, red and gillie hot pink - which needless to say - is the colour I got her.

You might have guessed: she's that type of gal. To sum up: Prints directly from cameras and mobile phones (some - check polaroid website for compatibility with your model) 2x3 inch borderless, colour, sticky back prints. smudge proof, water resistant, tear resistant shots. No ink, no hassle, no extra costs. Prints in about 60 seconds Rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

HP Photosmart 5510e19 Jan 2012
By Mr. D
Purchased a 5510e earlier in the week and following set up, first prints noticed distinct misalignment of layout.s. Following discussion with the well known High Street Retailer Technology Help Desk, rerun alignment set up, remove & reinstall cartridges, restacking paper, conclusion it was a paper feed or equal hardware fault. No problem with retailer, printer returned and as I have been well satisfied with my previous HP Photosmart 5100 accepted offer of another 5510e. Following set up, not a happy bunny! Exactly the same problem, layout 3-4mm out of true on the side edges of the page and circa 2mm across the top and bottom edge. Reading other reviews mine is not an isloated fault. Compared to other printers the tray assembly is lightweight and the centralising paper guide rails very flimsy. Back to the store tomorrow armed with other reviews for return and another printer, but definitely NOT a 5510e! In view of the price it maybe okay for some, but if presentation is relatively important the 5510e appears not the one to chance.
